How much is a Toshiba Satellite worth with a broken motherboard?

Question by Tim: How much is a Toshiba Satellite worth with a broken motherboard?
I have a Toshiba Satellite that I bought for 800-900 dollars in 2010. How much is it worth now, it doesn’t start up because of what I believe to be a broken motherboard, it gets to the “Windows XP page” but doesn’t get to the screen where I need to put in my password.
