Dell urged Microsoft to change confusing Windows tablet branding

Dell executive Jeffrey Clarke has reportedly revealed that he urged Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to avoid using the Windows brand for the company’s Windows RT operating system. The Australian Financial Review reports that Clarke said the new OS for ARM-based tablets should be called something other than Windows, but Ballmer insisted the brand was too important. Q&A: How do I change the input on a Toshiba 2877DB television?

Question by renzokukenreddragon: How do I change the input on a Toshiba 2877DB television? I was given a Toshiba 2877DB television, with no manual. Where can I get a user manual or does anyone know what to press on the remote (which is the most useless remote I’ve ever seen)? I’ve googled it but all I get are service manuals, which aren’t relevant. Best answer: Answer by ThomasGoogle Toshiba 2877DB users manual. There are paid and free …

Instead of recording practice and game stats manually and then entering them into spreadsheets, Duke team managers will record things like shots, points, rebounds and deflections directly on a SportsBoard-equipped iPad. Those individual number will then be uploaded to a server, and minutes later, crunched to produce advanced statistics called Player Efficiency Ratings for each player. Think of it as “Moneyball” for college hoops. While Duke is the first college program to use SportsBoard’s live-stats feature, a number of others — including Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Miami — have already been using the app’s primary function. That function is player assessment, allowing coaches to evaluate prospective recruits …

For example, we can have multiple audio/video players installed on the device that can play all types of media files. Now let’s say you prefer an app to play all the videos while another one to play the audio,  but by accident you select a player to play all the files by default.
