Images of new Lenovo mid-range devices discovered

Lenovo appears to be working on a pair of mid-range devices to compete for buyers looking for more affordable devices. Although projected to be a middle tier device, the Lenovo S920 will reportedly come with a 5.3-inch screen in a case with narrow bezels, a quad-core processor, dual-SIM support, a decent battery clocking in at 2,250 mAh all running Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean when launched. Joining the S920 will be the Lenovo S820, another quad-core cpu powered device. Images of the S820 show a handset clad in a bright red case. ROM developers be damned: Android 4.2 headed to AOSP right now; factory images available

Well that didn’t take long, did it? Shortly after the launch of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 here in the United States Google is already delivering the latest and greatest version of Android to the Android Open Source Project. What does this mean for users? Well, not much unless you also happen to be a developer. This code will make it possible for some of your favorite ROM makers, like the CyanogenMod team, to begin work on the next major iterations of their Android 4.2-infused wares. Pinterest Updates Android App to Show Bigger Images, Repins

Pinterest on Friday published to Google Play an update to its Android app that makes tall images bigger and shows where pins have been repinned. The software update also makes it easier for users to pin from external websites and includes an unspecified number of fixes based on feedback. The release comes a couple weeks after Pinterest updated its iOS app to include iPhone 5 support and support for pinning from the camera or Photo library on the iPad.
