Now Chad is stuck between the service company and Toshiba, and they just keep passing him back and forth. I purchased a Toshiba 47” 3D Led TV in Early 2012. …

Toshiba develops a wirelessly-powered OLED panel
One of the major benefits of using OLED technology is the very low levels of power they require. Toshiba has combined that fact with another technology that’s becoming more popular–wireless power transmission. Typically, we see wireless power used to charge smartphones without the need to plug a cable into them directly. But what Toshiba has done is to integrate the inductive power system into the back of a small OLED panel. The result is a working light that requires no wires. Toshiba decided the best way to show this system off during Lighting Fair 2013 in Tokyo this week was to create an configurable light unit. It takes the form …

Toshiba Excite 10 Review – ComputerShopper.com
Enter the next iteration, the $ 449.99 Excite 10. Here, we’re talking sleek-looking and powerful. Not quite as thin and light as the Excite 10 LE, this revised Excite runs on a quad-core Tegra 3 processor. It comes with both micro-HDMI and mini-USB ports, which we’ve seen on only a select few slates. Plus, the Excite 10 provides an interesting option for massively increasing the storage capacity: It supports full-size SD cards up to 128GB. The company plans to finalize development of the new sensor module by this year and may roll it out the following year. Lytro has previously suggested it could include its Light Field Technology in smartphone cameras but nothing concrete has been announced. Toshiba’s new sensor …
