Yes.there is a tweak in galaxy s3.i have galaxy note and i have done thisIt is quite safer than jailbreaking any Iphone.it is called jailbreaking in Iphone and ‘Rooting’ in galaxy s3.
By rooting,you can get mastercontrol over your phone.By rooting,you can change your phone’s ROM,RAM,transfer your mobile from android 2.0(gingerbread) to android 4.0(icecreame sandwich).These are the two latest types of android software.though,galaxy s3 already has android 4.0.

I preffer not to root(hack) your phone as galaxy s3 already has many features and after rooting,you will only get 2-4 features more.galaxy s3 is much better than Iphone 4s and can do almost anything even without rooting.
Iphone 4s needs jailbreaking because it’s best features comes only after jailbreaking it.

Back then, rooting your device came with significant risk. At the time, people were still just learning what they were doing, so the potential for damaging your phone was higher than it is today, in a day and age where devices get rooted even before they’re made available to the public.

If you’re among the brave Android users who have taken the plunge and unlocked the true potential of your smartphone or tablet, there is an interesting new project we stumbled across, called Pimp My ROM. PMR is a powerful, Aroma Installer-based script that  lets you cherry pick from an extensive list of tweaks, mods, apps, themes and features to apply to your current ROM.

Now for the awesome part. This script can be used on any Android device, running any custom ROM, as long as the custom ROM of your choice has init.d support. Not sure if your ROM has init.d support? Check your ROM’s original thread (the place you downloaded it from) for details, or ask your ROM’s developer. He/she will know.

With a name like Pimp My ROM, who wouldn’t want to give it a try? How it works is even cooler though. Basically, it’s a simple zip file that you flash in recovery, which will then list out through a touch interface many custom tweaks and mods you can perform to enhance your device. As we mentioned in the title, it works on any device running any ROM, as long as you’re rooted and running a custom recovery such as ClockworkMod.
